The Kenya Civil Society Platform on Oil and Gas (KCSPOG) was formed in 2013. It brings together organisations that collaborate towards a Kenya where there is equitable and sustainable development through the efficient and transparent management of natural resources.
The platform provides an opportunity for its members to share common advocacy priorities, coordinate diverse and collective views in effectively influencing government policies and legislation.
Further, the platform and its members have continuously worked to enhance the internal and external capacity of civil society organisations (CSOs), the media, communities, and other stakeholders on key issues in the oil and gas sector.
