ABOUT KCSPOG
The Kenya Civil Society Platform in Oil and Gas (KCSPOG) is a civil society members’ organisation that coordinates views, advocacy and coalesces around common positions to influence change and developments in the energy sector. KCSOG is also the Publish What You Pay (PWYP) Coalition in Kenya. Driven by the vision of ensuring an equitable and sustainable energy sector and in line with the KCSPOG Strategic Plan for the period 2022-2026, the platform generates evidence, coalesces views and implement programmes with a focus on continuing to advocate for contract disclosures, transparency and accountability in the energy sector and advocating for a just and people centred Pan African energy transition.
WEBSITE OVERVIEW AND DEVELOPMENT
KCSPOG is seeking a firm or a consultant with competent skills and expertise to redesign and update the website to offer visible web presence for the Platform’s strategic direction. The firm or consultant should have a track record of success in designing and producing digital solutions to develop new templates for the current website including on programmes and strategies. The templates will provide a new look-and-feel to the web and will unlock the potential functionalities using current software while displaying the content in a more organized, attractive and user-friendly manner. The website will be used as mechanism to promote the work KCSPOG has been and plans to undertake by providing timely information, reports, posters related to awareness and all the public documents related to visibility.
KEY DELIVERABLES
- Audit of the current website and providing advisory on upgrades, software’s and licences
- Updated visual look to and functionalities to provide better user experience including updating any dormant links and revamping the newsletter design
- Update the organisation profile including KCSPOG brand, theme vision, mission, objectives; and staff bios
- Develop and integrate new programmes and strategies section
- Support and maintenance: Administrative and technical support, quality control for a period of 6 months
- User manual and training
- Other changes as required by KCSPOG
DURATION OF ENGAGEMENT
The duration of the assignment will be no more than 2 months (i.e. 30 cumulative days) of active engagement with the platform coordinator and staff from the point of contracting.
